The Mining-Geology-Petroleum Engineering Bulletin is Croatian scientific journal, published by the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb. That is leading Croatian journal in fields where papers are published. It is indexed and abstracted in Chemical Abstracts, Emerging Sources Citation Index (Thomson Reuters), Compendex + Geo Abstracts (Geobase) + Fluidex + Scopus (Elsevier), GeoRef, Geotechnical abstracts, Google Scholar (via PDFs on https://hrcak.srce.hr/en/rgn-zbornik), Petroleum Abstracts, Referativnij žurnal, Norwegian register for scientific journals, series and publishers. It is also visible in the following academic databases and search engines (open access): DOAJ (held prestigious DOAJ Seal as recognition for editorial work), DOI (CrossRef), Geoscience e-journal, Electronic Journals Library, Hrčak, JournalSeek. The journal archive is available at: https://hrcak.srce.hr/en/rgn-zbornik. The year of publication of the first issue is 1989, and in the past eight years the journal has achieved impressive results. During this period, the CiteScore and SJR index increased fivefold and the number of articles published increased fourfold. The number of cited documents per year was 10 in 2015, while it exceeded 200 in 2022. The last significant achievement was in 2022, when five issues were published with 14 papers per issue and the total number of citations in WoS exceeded 1,000. The journal content covers the following scientific areas: Mining, Geology, Geological Engineering, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Energetics, Mathematics, Physics, Aviation, Rocket and Space Technology. The content was added to the Croatian journal database “Hrčak” on October 19, 2006.
